The OBS replay buffer,
preconfigured.
Revidi is an Electron app built on OBS Studio. The replay buffer that takes scenes, sources, encoder settings, and hotkey wiring to configure in OBS is what Revidi ships as the entire product, working out of the box.
Install it, pick a hotkey, and it buffers from startup. Auto game capture hooks fullscreen games when they launch, the right hardware encoder is chosen for your GPU, and saved clips upload to a paste-ready share link.

Revidi vs OBS replay buffer at a glance.
Why people use Revidi instead
Zero-config capture
No scenes, sources, or profiles. You choose a capture mode, a buffer length, a hotkey, and Revidi handles the rest, including hooking fullscreen games automatically.
The right encoder, automatically
Revidi picks NVENC on NVIDIA, AMF on AMD, and falls back to x264 when no hardware encoder is available. No rate-control or preset spelunking required.
Sharing OBS doesn't do
OBS saves a file and stops there. Revidi uploads the clip in the background, copies a paste-ready link to your clipboard, and lets you trim in a built-in editor that updates the same link. You can share this link anywhere for anyone to instantly watch your replay.
When you should just use OBS
If you stream, composite scenes, or need advanced recording functionality like overlays and multiple sources, use OBS Studio proper. Revidi is for people who only ever wanted the replay buffer and would rather not maintain an OBS setup to get it.
Questions, answered.
Is Revidi actually OBS?
Revidi is powered by OBS Studio under the hood. It runs a small version of OBS and is preconfigured on your behalf. It's packaged as a dedicated replay buffer app with its own interface, auto game capture, and sharing built in.
Can I change the buffer length?
Yes. The rolling buffer defaults to 60 seconds and is configurable in settings, as is the clip save location.
Does Revidi support streaming?
No, and that's deliberate. Revidi just does the replay buffer. If you need streaming or scene composition, OBS Studio is the right tool.
Is Revidi free?
Yes. Downloading Revidi and saving unlimited clips locally is free. A free account lets you share 3 clips to the cloud and edit up to 3; Premium ($4.99/month) removes those limits.
